In the beautiful Flemish Ardennes at the foot of the Kwaremont and the Kluisberg lies in peace this beautiful and authentic cottage for 2 persons. This cottage was furnished with pure and beautiful materials and you will find a combination with contemporary art made by the owner himself.

We give you the choice to book via Airbnb or directly with us.
AIRBNB (currently only for 2 people)
You click on "Book" and follow the further instructions from Airbnb.
DIRECT (also for up to 6 people from the end of September)
You must submit a request via the contact form below.
After checking the availability of your request, you will receive a reservation confirmation along with the itinerary and the information brochure.
We require a deposit upon reservation, and your reservation is valid as soon as your payment has been received in our bank account.
The balance and the deposit of €350 must be paid two weeks before arrival.

A minimum booking of 2 nights is required.

House rules
Check-in from 15:00, check-out before 11:00
Smoking is not permitted on the premises.
Pets are not allowed, not even miniature animals.
Adults only – max. 2 people.
A security deposit of €350 is required. After check-out, the property will be inspected for damage, loss, or extreme soiling. Following this inspection, and provided everything is in order, the deposit will be refunded in full to your account no later than 5 days after check-out.
The complete house rules will be provided to you upon reservation, along with the information brochure.
Cancellation policy:
The tenant may cancel the rental at any time before the start of the stay, provided the due cancellation fee is paid.
Cancellations, for whatever reason, must be reported to us immediately by telephone and subsequently confirmed in writing.
The cancellation fee amounts to:
- Cancellation more than 8 weeks before the scheduled day of arrival: 25% of the total rental amount
Cancellation from 8 to 4 weeks before the scheduled day of arrival: 50% of the total rental amount
Cancellation from 4 to 2 weeks before the scheduled day of arrival: 75% of the total rental amount
Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the scheduled day of arrival: the full rental amount

We had a wonderful time at Xavier and Sofie's. The inspiring and serene tranquility we found here exceeded our expectations. We took lovely long walks from the cottage, played pétanque every evening, and enjoyed the rustling poplars, the buzzards, the blackbirds on the grass, the rolling hills with horses and deer, and last but not least: the exceptionally tasteful setting in which we were able to stay. Sofie and Xavier were also very friendly and hospitable, making us feel right at home. Thank you!

Xavier and Sofia welcomed us personally! That's not nothing... now everyone leaves the keys in the box with a code! They showed us the accommodation where and how the various appliances work. Always very helpful and friendly to any request. They have a large garden with a bench and a parasol for relaxing outside. The interior is beautifully taken care of in every detail with large windows that create a wonderful atmosphere. I won't tell you anything more... 😏 to discover the poetry of the place, stay in their cottage. If you love cycling 🚴🏻♂️ (like us), there is no shortage of bike paths! Ideal for traveling immersed in nature and tranquility that characterizes the place.

I can't say enough positive things about Xavier's listing. My wife & I truly enjoyed our time there. Xavier and his wife are lovely hosts. Xavier's listing is immaculate. The kitchen is very well equipped. The furniture, finishing touches, and artwork are top notch. The cottage has large windows which let in a ton of natural light. There is a view from the bedroom which overlooks a horse pasture. We regularly saw his lovely horse, ring necked pheasants, and other wildlife. This was one of the best listings where we have ever stayed. I highly recommend Xavier's listing.
